E-cigarette ban overturned in Switzerland

The sale of e-cigarettes was banned in Switzerland until recently when the Federal Administrative Court (FAC) overturned this decision.

This comes in light of an appeal by a company against the ban citing that vaping products are sold in the European Union. With the ban no longer in place, e-cigarettes and e-liquids can be imported for resale with immediate effect.

Switzerland’s decision is another win for the vaping community. More and more countries are starting to see the health benefits of encouraging smokers to make the switch.

Let’s hope that South Africa will also soon join the likes of the UK and Switzerland. You can help to save the future of vaping locally by signing the petition and add your personal vaping story.
