If you are a regular vaper, you would know that there are more than one way to vape. In fact, there are basically two styles of vaping, and which one you choose is a personal choice.
One is however preferred by newbie vapers over the other.
Mouth to Lung (MTL)
This method is favoured by those new to the vaping scene and by ex-smokers. It’s easy and is all about the flavour, while delivering a subtle throat and lung hit.
Method: inhale the vapour, keep it in your mouth and after a couple of seconds inhale it to your lungs.
Direct Lung Inhalation (DLI)
DLI is for vapers who are looking for an intense throat and lung hit. These vapers are also called “cloud chasers”. They aren’t looking for big flavour. This method is favoured by experienced vapers.
Method: Inhale the vapour straight to your lungs.
Although these are the main vaping styles, there are a couple of variations.
Pure Mouth Hit
This is the simplest method of vaping and a variation of MTL.
Method: inhale vapour, keep it in your mouth and then exhale it without drawing it into your lungs.
This variation is a mixture of MTL and DLI.
Method: Inhale vapour and keep it in your mouth. Allow air into your mouth while the vapour is still in your mouth and then take a deep breath, essentially drawing the vapour into your lungs. This method ensures big flavour and a good throat / lung hit simultaneously.
It doesn’t matter which method you use to vape as long as you enjoy it responsibly.
