Public Health England launches Pro-Vaping campaign

The Public Health England (PHE) launched a new year’s campaign encouraging smokers to attempt quitting with the help of e-cigarettes.

It’s no secret that the organisation has always been a cheerleader for vaping as a cessation tool, going as far as issuing vaping guidelines for employers to support vapers in the workplace.

Last October, PHE partnered with the Independent British Vape Trade Association (IBVTA) to launch the Stoptober campaign which saw it recommending vaping as one of the quitting methods.

Both organisations have contributed greatly to the positive attitude towards e-cigarettes in the UK. Data shows that the because of the vast usage of e-cigarettes in the country, the UK sports the second lowest smoking rates in Europe.
